1997 Jaguar XJ Vanden Plas For Sale

This is a lovely, low mileage, sturdy condition 1997 Jaguar XJ6. Aside from auction/dealerships selling the car, we were told by the dealership we are the second owners of this vehicle. We have busy lives professionally with children and it’s difficult right now to invest the energy to get this car up to its deserved optimal state. It runs fine – a trusty car with the electric elements and details like the wheels, leather, sunroof, and functionality of the dining tables in good working shape. The antenna recently broke in a car wash, which should be affordable for someone to fix themselves. There’s a thin scratch with shallow dent on the back door that is difficult to see at a glance but would need minor body repair/paint to remove (~4 inches). The steering fluid reservoir has a leak that should also be fixable for someone who wants to work on this car themselves or knows a good historic car mechanic; we fill the reservoir with a few ounces every other week or so. The main issues you will want to get worked on will be shocks and steering rack. We drive the car to work sometimes with confidence but it definitely feels like it needs TLC to smooth out the ride.
