In my five years of ownership I have used the car sparingly as a weekend car for ~7 months out of the year. It has never been driven in the rain and always stored in a temperature controlled garage. I completed the IMS/RMS replacement at my local factory Porsche dealer immediately after purchasing the car and simultaneously replaced the clutch. I have also had a factory short shift, factory center console delete, and exhaust valve bypass installed by Eurosport, a highly reputable local enthusiast Porsche mechanic. Regular service has been completed in each year of my ownership by either Eurosport or the local factory Porsche dealer. New factory-recommended Michelin Pilot Sport tires were installed in September 2004 by the Porsche dealer and have been used less than 1,000 miles.
