2014 Ford Expedition EL For Sale

Prepare for winter driving. Very clean 2014 Ford Expedition EL (extended length) XLT. This is the last year Ford put the 5.4 liter V-8 in the Expedition, which makes it the truck to own (sorry, I’m not a fan of the turbo 6-cylinder). 186k miles on a strong engine. Towing capacity is 9000 lbs. Drivetrain is 4-wheel Auto, 4-wheel high, 4-wheel low and 2-wheel. All rear seats fold to create an 8’x4′ bed accommodating full sheets of plywood or drywall with the tailgate closed. Great for keeping tools dry and easy access from tailgate and rear doors. Seating for 8 adults with the seats up, and still plenty of room for luggage. Some of the features: Heated and cooled 6-way adjustable front seats, leather throughout. Electric rear folding seats. Electric rear vent windows. C/D, AM/FM player, rear air controls. 2 new tires last year, new brakes in June. Trailer hitch. No accidents, non smoking vehicle. Problems? probably need two more tires next year, scrapes on tailgate (picture) and near running board on drivers side, dent when tailgate hinge meets roof (picture) (doesn’t affect operation). and chipping on lower edge of tailgate. Ford, in an effort to boost mileage, made the tailgate and hood out of aluminum. Unfortunately, for multiple years, they used the wrong primer on aluminum, hence bubbling and chipping around the lower edge. It won’t rust, but is noticeable. Even the 2014 Expedition EL I just purchased has bubbling on the tailgate. The recent purchase, with 90K miles, is the fifth Expedition I’ve owned and been very happy with each one. When I add 100K mile to the new purchase, I’ll look for another low mileage 2012-2014 EL. I’m not sure you could find a cleaner Expedition EL than this one with comparable mileage.
